The Tennessee General Assembly Has Named Five School Systems In Northeast Tennessee To Receive Thousands Of Dollars In Funding To Improve School Safety And Security. Bristol Schools Will Receive Over 117-Thousand Dollars, Carter County Schools 211-Thousand, Johnson City Schools 93-Thousand, Kingsport Schools 218-Thousand And Sullivan County Schools 285-Thousand Dollars. State Funding Is Also Being Allocated To A Developer Who Will Design A Smart Phone App That Can Be Used Statewide By Students, Faculty And Staff To Anonymously Report Any Suspicious Activity.
