Bristol Virginia School Leaders Have Decided To Wait Before Voting On A New Elementary School Due To Terms Of The Agreement Not Being Completed As Of Yet. The Vote Was Originally Set To Be Held Tonight On Its Recommendation For A 37.6 Million Dollar Lease Plan That Would Result In A New 86-Thousand Square Foot School Being Built Adjacent To Van Pelt Elementary. However, Details Of The Draft Agreement With J.A. Street Are Still Not Finalized. The Final Decision For The School Will Come From The City Council Which Is Expected To Consider The Proposal At Its November 13th Meeting.
