The State Supreme Court Has Overturned A Ruling That Could Impact Many Felony Dui Cases Put On Hold. Earlier This Year Several Counties Pulled Felony Dui Prosecutions Off The Docket, Because The State Appeals Court Ruled The Fee Charged For Blood And Breath Test Was Unconstitutional. The Revenue From These Test Goes To The Tennessee Bureau Of Investigation And The Court Said They Could Alter Testing To Increase Revenue. Although The Ruling Has Been Overturned For Now, There Are Appeals Heading To The U.S. Supreme Court.
