A U.S. District Court Judge In Federal Court In Abingdon Has Granted Approval Of A Class Action Agreement In A Gas Royalties Case. Judge James Jones Granted Motions For A 4-Million Dollar Settlement In The Case Of Jeffery Hale And Others Against CNX Gas Company Of Pittsburgh. There Were Over 11-Members To Join The Original Suit That Was Filed In 2010. The Lawsuit Accused CNX And Other Companies Of Mining Gas From Properties Of Residents Living In Southwest Virginia And Never Paying Them For It.
