The Johnson City Board Of Education Has Decided To Ask Voters Who They Want To Fill A Vacant Seat On The School Board. This, After Stacie Torbett Resigned Last Week After Moving Outside The City Limits Into Washington County. All Six Members Met Yesterday For A Special Called Meeting To Declare The Vacancy Before Deciding Not To Fill The Open Seat. Now, Voters Will Have To Select Five School Board Members During The November 6th Election, While Torbett’s Replacement Will Only Serve A Two Year Term, Rather Than The Typical Four.
