The Surgoinsville Utility District Has Issued A Boil Water Alert For Areas Served By The Hill Tank, Until Further Notice. The District Says They Have Reason To Suspect The Water Distribution To Some Customers May Be Contaminated. Customers Who Have Experienced Water Outages And Very Low Pressures Are Advised To Boil Water Prior To Using For Drinking Or Food Preparation.
