A Single Car Crash In Carter County Has Claimed The Life Of An Elizabethton Man. According To The Tennessee Highway Patrol, 48 Year Old Dale Nelson Was Pronounced Dead At The Scene. Authorities Said Nelson Was Traveling On State Route 400 When His Car Left The Roadway And Crashed Into A Ditch. Speed Was Not A Factor And Nelson Was Wearing A Seatbelt. Troopers Are Investigating The Cause Of The Crash And Said It Could Have Been Medical Related
