The Bluff City Board Of Mayor And Aldermen Has Decided To Repair The City’s Broken Down Water Plant. The Town Will Spend Nine Thousand Dollars To Buy And Install The First Of Three Pumps Needed To Get The Water Plant Operating Properly. The Plant Has Been Shut Down, Forcing The City To Buy Water From The Bristol-Bluff City Utility District. Mayor Irene Wells Says The City Plans To Get The First Pump Fixed And Then The Other Two Pumps After The New Fiscal Year Begins In July.
