About A Thousand Lee County Virginia Residents Will Be Receiving Improved Water Quality, Thanks To A Combination Of Grants And Loans From The U.S. Department Of Agriculture’s Rural Development Agency. The Woodway Water And Sewer Authority Based In Pennington Gap Will Receive A 4.1 Million Dollar Loan And A 2.4 Million Dollar Grant For System Improvements. Undersized Water Lines Will Be Replaced, Leaks Repaired, New Valves And Fire Hydrants Installed That Will Service 20 Commercial Users Along With 11-Hundred Residential Customers. It’s Unclear How Long It Will Take To Complete The Work.
