The Tennessee Department Of Health Has Announced The Appointment Of Members Of The Inaugural Certification Of Public Advantage Local Advisory Council. The State Of Tennessee Issued A Certificate Of Public Advantage In January Of This Year Allowing The Merger Of Wellmont Health System And Mountain States Health Alliance. It’s Now Known As Ballad Health. Health Commissioner John Dreyzehner Said The State Is Now Required By Law To Supervise Ballad Health To Ensure The Continuation Of The Public Benefit Of The Merger. The Council Will Hold Its First Meeting June 6th From 3 To 5 At Northeast State Community College. Its Open To The Public.
