Bristol Tennessee Leaders Have Unanimously Approved On First Reading, The Annual Budget For Fiscal Year 2018-19. The Proposed 107-Million Dollar Spending Plan Doesn’t Cover The 1-Million Dollar Shortfall In The City School System’s Budget And Doesn’t Bring City Employee Wages To 2017 Standards. The Proposed Spending Plan Includes A 740-Thousand Dollar Draw Down To The General Fund, Cuts 1.4 Million Of Capital Spending Across All Departments And Brings The City’s Plans To Build An Aquatic Center To A Halt.
