A Fire This Morning At Columbus McKinnon Corporation On Jeb Stuart Highway In Damascus Virginia Lead To Employees Being Evacuated From The Plant. No Injuries Were Reported. The Blaze Stated In The Building’s Roof Area Near An Inside/Outside Exhaust Vent System. The Company Makes Chain Hoists For Cranes And Other Products. The Building Will Remain Closed Today Because Of Water, Fire And Smoke Damage. No Information Has Been Released As To When The Plant Will Reopen.
