Camp Bays Mountain Kingsport Has Been Undergoing Some Big Renovations. The Holston Conference Of The United Methodist Church Spent 4.5 Million Dollars To Expand And Renovate The Property. Improvements Include A Renovated And Furnished Dining Hall, Kitchen, Outdoor Adventure Area, New Swimming Pool, Campfire Worship Area, New Cabins And A Retreat Lodge. Heavy Rains And Floodwaters Caused Major Damage To Buffalo Mountain Camp In 2011, Which Resulted In The UMC Relocating The Camp To Bays Mountain.
