The Sullivan County Highway Department Will Hold A Ribbon Cutting At Old Fordtown Road Today After A Landslide Caused A Portion Of The Roadway To Collapse Last June. The Closure Has Forced Drivers, Emergency Crews And Law Enforcement To Use Alternate Routes, Which Takes Longer. The Highway Department Kept The Road Closed Due To Safety Concerns, After The Landslide Washed A Portion Of The Road Away. It Cost A Little Less Than 20-Thousand Dollars To Make The Repairs.
