Sheriff Fred Newman Said 24 Year Old Kyle Douglas Hayes Of Damascus Is Charged With Assault And Battery. The Incident Occurred At A Home On Big Bass Camp Road In Abingdon. Meanwhile, 27 Year Old Jillian Brook South, Also Of The Residence, Is Charged With Assault And Battery As Well. Hayes Has Been Placed On Administrative Leave Pending The Outcome Of Court Proceedings. Virginia State Police Are Investigating.
