A Kingsport Man Has Been Ordered To Spend Time In Jail For His Role In A 100-Thousand Dollar Counterfeiting Conspiracy. 39 Year Old Jason Massengill Pleaded Guilty In October After Being Indicted For Spending Funny Money In Multiple Locations Across The Region. He Along With Robert William Guy Of Kingsport, Sean Bowman Of Jonesborough, And Darell Hobss Of Gray Conspired To Defraud The U.S. With Counterfeit Bills. Massengill Was Sentenced To More Than Three Years In Prison. Bowman And Hobbs Each Received Five Years Of Probation, While Guy Is Awaiting Sentencing.
