A Mount Carmel Man Who Pleaded Guilty To Shooting And Killing An Acquaintance In Kingsport Has Begun A 12 Year Prison Sentence. 21 Year Old Quinten Shelton Admitted To Voluntary Manslaughter, Reduced From Second Degree Murder In The Killing Of Zaccari Miller In 2016. He Later Admitted To Tampering With Evidence And Using A Firearm In A Felony. Police Said Shelton, Who Shot Miller In The Back Of The Head, Told Them He Placed The Gun In The Victim’s Had, Claiming He Shot Himself. After Serving His Prison Term, Shelton Will Be Required To Spend Three Years On Probation.
