A Tennessee Department Of Corrections Prison Guard Who Reportedly Wrote A Letter In Support Of A Washington County Tennessee Mother And Daughter Convicted In The So Called Facebook Murders Has Been Fired. Maria Jackson Was Still Within Her One Year Employment Probation Period When The Letter Was Penned. The Letter Was Sent To Senior Judge Don Ash In Murfreesboro About Barbara Potter And Her Daughter, Janelle Potter Who Received Life Sentences In The Murders. Sullivan County District Attorney Barry Staubus, Who Handled The Most Recent Court Proceedings, Wrote The Corrections Department Commissioner Tony Parker Stating He Believed It Was Inappropriate For The Guard To Become Involved In The Case.
