According To A Newly Released Audit By The Tennessee Comptroller Of The Treasury, Two Johnson County School Employees Are Under Fire For Allegedly Using Taxpayer Resources. The State Alleges Some Of The Money Those Employees Made, Should Have Gone To The School District. We’re Talking About 60-Thousand Dollars Or So Of Untaxed Compensation For The Two Employees. The Audit Focuses On A Contract Between The District And The State To Perform Skills Testing For People Who Apply For Commercial Driver’s Licenses. The Audit Found No Evidence The School Board Ever Approved The Contract And No Proof Employees Gave Any Of The Money They Collected To The Johnson County Trustee. An Exact Amount Of Money Earned Has Yet To Be Identified.
