A Washington County Chancery Court Judge Has Allowed Greene County Clerk & Master Kay Solomon Armstrong To Speak To County Commissioners About Her Lawsuit Against The County. Armstrong Filed Suit Claiming The County Budget, That Was Passed In July, Did Not Allow Her To Sufficiently Staff The Clerk And Master’s Office. County Mayor David Crum Had Asked For The Court To Prohibit Direct Contact. A Judge Said Tennessee Code Dictates The Court Cannot Prohibit Armstrong From Talking To Public Officials About The Case Because It’s Considered Job-Related.
