Sullivan County Chancellor E.G. Moody Will Hear A Motion This Morning In A Bristol Tennessee Courtroom Concerning An Opioid Lawsuit Filed By Three Attorneys General That Cover Sullivan, Washington, Hawkins, Greene, Hamblen And Hancock Counties. The Motion Seeks To Lift A Protective Order Filed By The Opioid Manufactures That Allows Them To Withhold Discovery Or Evidence Sought By The Plaintiff’s, Until There’s A Ruling On Their Motion To Dismiss The Suit. Since The Lawsuit Was Filed, There Have Been 13 Deaths Related To Drug Overdoses.
