The Judicial Misconduct Case Of Bristol Virginia Juvenile And Domestic Court Judge Kurt Pomreneke Is Set To Be Heard Today In Richmond Before The Virginia Supreme Court. Pomreneke Was Convicted In U.S. District Court In Abingdon This Past September Of Contempt For Disobeying A Court Order And Sharing Evidence With Virginia’s Judicial Inquiry And Review Commission. It’s The Agency That Investigated The Judicial Misconduct Allegations Against Pomreneke For Reaching Out To Possible Witnesses Before His Wife’s Corruption Trial Was Held. The State Supreme Court Will Decide If That Behavior Warrants Censure, Retirement Or Removal.
