A Grant Is On Its Way To The World-Renowned International Storytelling Center In Jonesborough, Home To The National Storytelling Festival And Storytelling Live Teller-In-Residence Series. 20-Thousand Dollars Has Been Awarded From The East Tennessee Foundation’s Youth Endowment Fund. The Grant Will Be Used To Support Stories For Change, A New Civic And Youth Leadership Program That Will Serve Economically And Socially Disadvantaged Youth From A Six-County Region In Northeast Tennessee.
