Ground Has Been Broken For A New Expansion At The East Tennessee State University And General Shale Brick Natural History Museum And Visitor’s Center In Gray. The Plans Include A New 1.95 Million Dollar 7-Thousand Square Foot Annex Adjacent To The Museum That Will Feature A Cafe, A Wet Lab, And Two Outdoor Classrooms. Funding For The Project Was Provided From Federal Grant Money Through The Tennessee Department Of Transportation. Once Completed, The Expansion Will Add 40 Additional Parking Places To The Facility. Contractors Hope To Have The Project Completed By Year’s End.
