THE CASE OF A HONAKER VIRGINIA MAN ACCUSED IN THE SLAYINGS OF HIS TWO BROTHER-IN-LAWS LAST OCTOBER HAS BEEN BOUND OVER TO A RUSSELL COUNTY GRAND JURY. 36 YEAR OLD JAMES DAVID BOYD IS CHARGED WITH TWO COUNTS OF FIRST DEGREE MURDER IN THE DEATHS OF KENNETH YATES AND JERRY YATES. BOYD ALSO FACES AN AGGRAVATED MALICIOUS WOUNDING CHARGE RELATED TO THE SHOOTING OF 36 YEAR OLD TERRY YATES, JERRY’S TWIN BROTHER. BOYD IS ALLEGED TO HAVE FIRED A 12-GUAGE SHOTGUN AT THE BROTHES AS THEY WERE EXITING A TRUCK IN FRONT OF HIS HOUSE. THE GRAND JURY CONVENES ON NOVEMBER 12TH.
