An Audit Has Found Insufficient Reviews Of Accounting Work At East Tennessee State University Has Led To Some Significant Errors. The Audit Was For The Fiscal Year Ending June 2009. Dr. B.J. King, Associate Vice President For Financial Services, Says They Treat Any Errors Very Seriously And Have Taken Steps To Address Any Problems. Among The Errors, The Reserve Amount For Tennessee State School Authority Bonds Were Reported At 22-Thousand Dollars When The Correct Amount Was More Than $4 Million. Also, Scholarship Allowances Were Understated By More Than $2 Million.
