A TWO VEHICLE ACCIDENT IN JOHNSON CITY HAS CLAIMED THE LIFE OF A CITY MAN. ACCORDING TO POLICE, 24 YEAR OLD JEREMIAH STOUT WAS CRITICALLY INJURED IN THE ACCIDENT SATURDAY ON KNOB CREEK ROAD AND LATER DIED FROM HIS INJURIES AT A LOCAL HOSPITAL. AUTHORITIES SAID STOUT WAS THE PASSENGER IN A CAR DRIVEN BY A 17 YEAR OLD MALE JUVENILE. 77 YEAR OLD BLANNIE DOUGLASS WAS TRAVELING SOUTH WHEN SHE TURNED HER VEHICLE INTO THE PATH OF THE TEENAGE DRIVER. SHE AND THE JUVENILE WERE ADMITTED WITH NON LIFE THREATENING INJURIES. THE CRASH IS STILL UNDER INVESTIGATION AND CHARGES ARE PENDING.
