Johnson City Is In The Running For A Fortune 50 Company To Possibly Locate In The Area, Which Could Bring As Many As 800 High-Tech Jobs To The Region. Economic Development Director P.C. Snapp Said Many The Positions Would Require College-Educated Computer Specialists. Johnson City And Seven Other Locations Are Currently Under Consideration By The Company. Snapp Said If The City Is Chosen, It Would Mean A Lot Of Area Students Could Stay And Work In The Tri Cities.
