A Proposed Change To Retirement Benefits In Johnson City Has Some City Employees Outraged. Last Night, More Than 100 Public Safety Employees Jammed Into A Conference Room To Listen To City And State Officials Discuss The Possibility That Any Employees Hired After June 30th Would Not Be A Part Of The Tennessee Consolidated Retirement System. The City Has Sent The State A Letter Of Intent To Withdraw From The System At The End Of This Fiscal Year Due To Economic Reasons.
