A LARGE AMOUNT OF DRUGS AND CASH HAVE BEEN SEIZED IN A RAID ON A HOME IN BRISTOL, TENNESSEE. 55 YEAR OLD ROBERT “RED” CHAPMAN IS CHARGED WITH POSSESSION WITH INTENT TO RESALE SCHEDULUE TWO AND FOUR DRUGS, UNLAWFUL POSSESSION OF A FIREARM, AND MAINTAINING A DWELLING WHERE DRUGS ARE USED OR SOLD. POLICE CAME TO CHAPMAN’S MOBILE HOME IN VOLUNTEER VILLAGE MOBILE HOME PARK JUST SOUTH OF BRISTOL MOTOR SPEEDWAY, WHERE THEY CONFISCATED ALMOST 27-THOUSAND DOLLARS IN CASH, MORE THAN A POUND OF MARIJUANA, APPROXIMATELY SEVEN GRAMS OF COCAINE, AND A QUANITTY OF PRESCRIPTION MEDICATIONS INCLUDING OXYCONTIN. A 22. CALIBER PISTOL WAS ALSO SEIZED AT THE HOME. AUTHORITIES ALSO CONFISCATED FIVE VEHICLES AND TWO COMPUTERS BELIEVED TO HAVE BEEN USED TO ORDER DRUGS VIA THE INTERNET. CHAPMAN IS FREE ON A 100-THOUSAND DOLLARS BOND.
