The Scott County Virginia Board Of Supervisors Has Passed A Resolution To Extend The Deadline For A Four Million Dollar Line Of Credit For The County School System. The Board Voted In Favor Of The Extension In Light Of State Law, Which Requires Local Governments To Provide Approval And Oversight Of Any Loans Taken Out By A School System. Superintendent Jim Scott Said The System Needed The Extension To Provide A Financial Cushion And Counteract Delays In Funding From The State.
