The Nearly Two Million Dollar Project Is Expected To Get Approval From The State Building Commission When It Meets On February 11th. Fossil Site Director Jeanne Zavada Says The Project Will Offer Some Nice Ammenities For Visitors Including A Café And A Wet Lab Inside For Children And Adults To Do Work. Money For The Project Comes From Federal Grant Money Through The Tennessee Department Of Transportation While Etsu Put Up A 20 Percent Match To The Grant Of Nearly 400-Thousand Dollars. It Should Take About A Year To Complete The Construction That Will Allow The Site To Accommodate Nearly 500 Visitors At One Time.
