The Mount Carmel Board Of Mayor And Aldermen Has Approved An Ordinance That Will Keep Methadone Clinics Out Of Town. The Ordinance Was Approved On First Reading Yesterday By The Mount Carmel Bma. It Restricts Methadone Clinics And Drug Treatment Facilities From Being Within One Thousand Feet Of A School, Church, Park, Residential Dwelling, Beer Selling Establishment Or A Number Of Other Type Property Uses. The Ordinance Will Go Before The Planning Commission Before Coming Back To The Bma February 23rd For A Public Hearing And Final Reading.
