A Kingsport School Is Reportedly Closing Its Doors A Letter Posted On Its Website Said St. Dominic’s Catholic School Will No Longer Operate After The Current School Ends In May. Also According To The Website, Over The Past Four Years, The K-Thru-5 Enrollment Has Declined From 83 Students To 52. The Church Decided That The School Is No Longer Sustainable And Cannot Justify The Ever-Increasing Demands On Parish Resources. The School Originally Began Teaching Students Out The Church’s Basement In 1945.
