An Employee Of A Johnson City Dog Kennel Where 14 Dogs Were Reportedly Stolen Earlier This Week Has Reportedly Admitted To Making Up The Story. 24 Year Old Ashli Thomas Has Been Charged With Filing A False Police Report And, Along With The Owners Of The Business, Eight Counts Of Animal Cruelty. Johnson City Police Said The Woman Made Up The Story Of The Theft From The Cool School For Dogs On West Market Street Because She Had Left The Animals Unattended, And Had Not Been Caring For Them Properly. Thomas Told Police She Was Stabbed By A Suspect. She Was Transported To The Washington County Detention Center Under 5-Thousand Dollars Bond. Thomas Is Set To Be Arraigned Later Today In General Sessions Court. The Investigation Is Continuing.
