A JOHNSON CITY WOMAN ACCUSED OF TAKING 80-THOUSAND DOLLARS FROM AN ELDERLY WOMAN SHE WAS PAID TO TAKE CARE OF HAS BEEN INDICTED BY A WASHINGTON COUNTY TENNESSEE GRAND JURY. ASHLEY BROOKS IS CHARGED WITH THEFT OVER 60-THOUSAND DOLLARS PLUS THREE ADDITIONAL THEFT CHARGES. SHE ALLEGEDLY TOOK THE MONEY FROM HER CLIENT’S BANK ACCOUNT. THE GRAND JURY ALSO INDICTED JESSEE WILSON ON CHARGES OF ATTEMPTED FIRST DEGREE MURDER AFTER HE ALLEGEDLY TOLD AN UNDERCOVER OFFICER ABOUT HIS PLANS TO BUY A GUN, KILL A MAN AND THEN DISPOSE OF HIS BODY. BOTH WILL BE ARRAIGNED IN CRIMINAL COURT ON JANUARY 19TH.
