Bristol Tennessee Is Close To Becoming The Proud Owners Of A Historic Department Store Building In The Downtown. The Bristol City Council Will Have To Approve The Over 250-Thousand Dollar Purchase Of The H.P. King Building On State Street. The Owner Nearly Sold It During A Recent Auction But The Deal Fell Through After The Highest Bidder Backed Out. The City Plans To Invest About 30-Grand Into The Old Building And Then Try To Recruit A Company Or Individual Investor To Buy The Improved Location. The City Council Will Meet Tomorrow Night To Discuss The Purchase.
