Tennessee Valley Authority Cres And Hawkins County Emergency Responders Were Called Out To The John Sevier Fossil Plant In Rogersville Yesterday Afternnon Following Reports Of What Sounded Like An Explosion. TVA Spokesman Scott Brooks Said The Noise Was Actually Caused By An Electrical Arc That Occurred In Unit 4 Of The Plant Which Is Located On Old Highway 70 South In Hawkins County. No One Was Injured In The Incident Althought Two Employees Who Were Working Near The Fire Scene Were Treated For Smoke Inhalation. The Facility Is Operating As Usual Today.
