Kingsport Leaders Got A Chance To Hear From Both Sides On The Controversial Red Light Camera Issue During A Work Session. The City Installed The Redflex Cameras At Eight Busy Intersections Three Years Ago. The Move Was An Attempt To Prevent Traffic Accidents, Mainly The Deadly T-Bone Collisions. So Far It Appears To Have Worked. But Some People Are Upset At The 100 Dollar Fine And Say It’s Just A Money Grabber For The City.
