The Lumina Foundation For Education Is Granting Up To $1.2 Million To Tennessee For Higher Education. The Money Will Be Used To Re-Enroll And Graduate Adult Students Who Have Left College, And To Revise The State’s Higher Education Funding Formula And Performance Funding Program. The Grant, One Of Seven Awarded Nationally, Comes Amid Budget Shortfalls And Rising College Enrollments. It Will Be Used For Up To Four Years. The Lumina Foundation For Education Focuses On Enrolling And Graduating More Students From College, Especially Low-Income Students, Minorities, First-Generation Students And Adults.
