The Hawkins County Sheriff’s Office Believes A Family Dispute Over Money Is What Led To A Son Killing His Father Over The Weekend. 27 Year Old Michael Ray Johnson Of Church Hill Is Charged With Second Degree Murder In The Strangulation Death Of 49 Year Old Henry Johnson, Also Of Church Hill. According To The Sheriff’s Office, The Incident Took Place At A Campsite Off Union Hollow Road Late Friday Night. The Two Men Had Been Arguing Over A Paycheck From The Family Business When The Younger Johnson Allegedly Chocked His Father Until He Passed Out. He’s Currently Being Held In The Hawkins County Jail And Is Expected To Be Arraigned Soon. The Body Of Henry Johnson Has Been Taken To The Quillen College Of Medicine Of An Autopsy.
