The Incident Occurred At A Home On Klenner Estates Drive Near Rogersville. 34 Year Old Brad Fortner Is Charged With Attempted First Degree Murder, Two Counts Of Felony Reckless Endangerment And Aggravated Burglary. Sheriff Roger Christian Said 39 Year Old Brian Kester Got Into An Altercation With Fortner After Fortner Allegedly Broke Into Norma Peters’ Home. During The Fight Kester Was Shot Five Times In The Chest Area. The Motive For The Crime Is Unknown At This Time. Kester Remains In An Area Hospital. Fortner Is Being Held On A 200-Thousand Dollars Bond In The Hawkins County Jail.
