Under A Proposal Unveiled By Sullivan County, Bristol, And Kingsport School Leaders, Kingsport Would Pay Sullivan North High School 20 Million Dollars. At A Meeting Last Night, Leaders Said, Under The Plan, North Would Cease To Be A County High School In May Of 2019. That Would Make The Class Of 2019 The Last To Graduate From North. The City Would Convert The County High School Into A City Middle School For An Opening Set For The Fall Of 2010. The Proposal Is Part Of The 140 Million Dollar First Phase Of A Three-Phase 15-Year Countywide Facilities Plan For All Three School Systems.
