Hawkins County School Leaders Are Considering Changing The Dress Code For Cheerleader Uniforms. The Uniforms Would Only Be Allowed To Be Worn During The School Day At Pep Rallies And Sporting Events Only. The Dress Code Currently States That Spirit Group Uniforms Worn To Attend Class Must Meet All Dress Code Requirements. The Code Was Also Updated Recently To State That A Skirt Must Be Below Mid-Thigh, Regardless Of Whether The Student Wears Sweatpants, Tights Or Leggings. The Policy Change Will Be Considered For Approval By School Leaders October 1st.
