The Industrial Development Board Of Greeneville And Greene County Is Set To Consider A Settlement Of Legal Action Against It By The Old Knoxville Highway Utility District. The Lawsuit Was Filed Against The IDB In August Of Last Year Over Plans To Install And Operate A 12-Mile Double Water Pipeline That Runs Water From The Nolichucky To U.S. Nitrogen And Returns Treated Water Back To The River. The Agreement Would Require U.S. Nitrogen To Pay Old Knox A One Time 50-Thousand Dollar Payment And Then 10-Thousand Dollars Monthly For The Use Of Water Obtained. The Industrial Development Board Will Meet At 8:30 Wednesday Morning.
