The Johnson City Bomb Squad Assisted The Elizabethton Police Department In Destroying A Suspicious Package Found On The Back Of A Truck In The Parking Lot Of An Elizabethton Shopping Center. Authorities Evacuated The Area Around The Dollar Tree Center And Detonated The Device. This Prompted Authorities To Search Elizabethton High School. Police Have Not Said Why They Were Searching The School.
