A Fully Jacketed Fossil Of A Complete Juvenile Tapir (Tay-Per) Has Been Discovered At The Fossil Site In Gray. The East Tennessee State University And General Shale Brick Natural History Museum And Visitor Center Will Feature The Find. It’s Believed The Rare Fossil Could Date As Far Back As Seven Million Years. The Specimen Was Found By A 13 Year Old Boy Volunteering At The Site’s Dig For A Day Program.
