The Virginia State Police Is Continuing To Investigate A School Bus Crash In Scott County That Left 12 Students Injured. It Happened Yesterday Afternoon On Twin Springs Road. Authorities Said The Bus Driver, David Kinkead Of Ft. Blackmore, Swerved To The Left To Avoid Hitting A Dog When The Vehicle Ran Off The Roadway And Struck A Rock Cliff Wall. He Was Not Injured In The Crash. As Of Last Night, Four Students Remained In A Kingsport Hospital. Kinkead Is Charged With Failure To Maintain Control Of The Vehicle.
