Kingsport Is Gearing Up To Fund Its Yearly Capital Improvement Plan. City Leaders Approved A Bond Resolution Authorizing 10.6 Million Dollars In General Obligation Bonds. Nearly Half Of The Money Is Going Toward Sewer Line Extensions In The Colonial Heights Community, While 1.7 Million Is For Upgrades To The City’s Water Facilities. The Remaining Funds Will Be Used For Library Improvements, Renovations At The Engineering Building, The School System And Towards A New Ladder Truck.
