The Sullivan County Commission Has Appointed Four Magistrates. They Will Be Responsible For Meeting Face-To-Face With Arresting Officers At Night And On Holidays When The Circuit Court Clerk’s Office Is Closed, To Determine If Probable Cause Exists To Secure The Issue Of An Arrest Warrant. The New Magistrates For The Kingsport End Of The County Are Lowell “Butch” Adkins, John D. Parker Jr. On The Bristol End Of The County, Joseph Harrison And Eric Senter Were Named To The Seats. The Appointments Become Effective September 1st.
